  • Via the POD machine in our reception (please feel free to ask help from one of our reception staff in operating this machine).
  • For for those with a blood pressure machine at home by filling out the following form with at home readings and sending it back to us either by hand and dropping it off at the surgery afterwards or by downloading the following form and emailing it back to us at atherstone.surgery1@nhs.net

High blood pressure, or hypertension, rarely has noticeable symptoms. But if untreated, it increases your risk of serious problems such as heart attacks and strokes. Around a third of adults in the UK have high blood pressure, although many will not realise it. The only way to find out if your blood pressure is high is to have your blood pressure checked.

For more information on Hypertension please take a look at the NHS website.
