The Practice is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners Research and Surveillance is participating in a national influenza Surveillance programme. Have you got FLU like symptoms like: Fever, Cough, headache, Runny nose, Muscle ache, or a sore throat! Your GP will ask you to take a swab, which will be tested for flu or alternatively please ask at Reception to asked to be swabbed>

A new data privacy law is being introduced this year in the UK. As a result, we will be publishing a new Privacy Notice on the 25th May 2018, to make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information. We won't be changing the way we use your personal information but the new notice will provide you with additional details such as:
- Your increased rights in relation to the information we hold about you.
- How we keep your personal information secure.
- The types of personal information The Atherstone Surgery collects about you and how we collect it and use it.
- The legal grounds for how we use your information.

We are now offering online services. You will have access to the following any day, at any time:
You can cancel or change appointments with your own GP, Request repeat prescriptions, see limited, basic information on your records such as medication and allergies.
You can also withdraw from this service at any point it's completely your choice.
You can still contact us in the same ways that you always have this is just an additional service to try and make things easier.
